It is the promise that God’s will will be done on earth as it is in heaven, that justice will roll down like waters, and that peace will kiss righteousness. It is the vision that sustains the weary, that gives courage to the faint-hearted, and that drives the Church forward in its mission of love and service. It is the gospel, the good news, that God is King, and that his Kingdom is near.
