† The local tradition is that he halted in the imperial *sarai* (Kare ka Sarai), 3 miles north of Ahmadabad, and looted it when retreating. Kari is 25 m. n. w. of Ahmadabad, Unjha is 35 m. further north (and 17 m. e. of Patan), Unauwa is 3½ m. s. w. of Unjha.
