∗ *Akhbarat*, 11 Sep. 1698, records that on that day a despatch was received from Prince Azim stating "Rahim Afghan and Shova Singh, rebels, were living in fort Chandrakona and robbing the imperial dominions. I took horse against them, arrived there, fought, and defeated them. The Afghan was slain."
