Letter of Nellor Ramana, 2 Aug., (Vol. 27), says that Shivaji kept the three Tanjore ministers with him for some time after leaving Tirumalvadi, and that Jagannath induced the garrison of Elavanasur to give it up to him. Jedhe S. records that Shivaji next captured Chidambaram, Vriddhachalam and Jagdevgad (=Kaveripatan) and laid siege to Kolhar.
