v2.c28.s12.25
The newly arrived Ruhela infantry, crouching in a hollow by the riverside, surprised the recklessly advancing Jat force and shot down most of their leaders. Both sides dismounted and a desperate hand to hand combat ensued. Sawai-ram and his Rathors were cut off and the rest of the Jat force took to flight, pursued by the Ruhelas and Turks.
