His estate now consisted of two large areas, one in the central Doāb with Koil (Aligarh) for its headquarters, and another in Mewāt (Gurgaon district.) The following mahals are specially named—Firuzābād, Hathrās, Khurjā, and Koil (all in the Doāb) and Palwal, Hodal and Sohnā (all in the Gurgaon district.)
