In No. 78 of 1916 which is a record of the Sundara Pāndya who took the Chola country, etc., there is a reference to a brother-in-law (*maccunanār*) of the king, whose name was Kulaśēkhara. One wonders if this brother-in-law is identical with the shortlived king Jaṭ. Kulaśēkhara II. But there is nothing to support this conjecture except the name.
