*Kāthaka nrpah prādhvamsi* (No. 182 of 1892), *Bhanktvā Kāthakadurgam* (No. 52 of 1893), *Ghōradvāiratha-khinna-kāthaka-purī-sampat-samākar-ṣinā* of the Śrīrangam Inscription (*E.I.*, vol. iii, p. 7) and a Tamil verse among the Chidambaram inscriptions (*Sen Tamil*, vol. iv, p. 492) show beyond doubt that the Kādava chieftain was the enemy in the Sēndamangalam campaign.
