Gopinatha Rao was clearly wrong in ascribing it to the Kulaśēkhara of the civil war of the twelfth century (Trav. Arch. Series, vol. ii, p. 16). The details of date in the record work out correctly for September 10, A.D. 1301 in the thirty-fourth year of our king (I.A., vol, xliv, p. 198).
