² This form appears in Pudukottah Nos. 370 and 379 of which 379 = No. 131 of 1907 (Madras). The words in the text must be quoted as there is some uncertainty as to the interpretation—‘கொங்கேழங் கொண்டு கொடுவேடு கோடழித்து கங்கை யிருகரையுங் காவிரியுங் கைக்கொண்டு.’ The difficulty lies in the phrase கங்கையிருகரையும். *A.R.E.*, 1912, part ii, para 39 makes this a conquest of Gangai-nāḍu and at *A.R.E.*, 1915, part ii, para 36 the phrase seems to be ignored altogether.
