4. *SII.* iii, No. 205 vv. 45 and 46. The Kanyākumkāri inscription of Vīrarājēndra (*TAS.* iii, p. 142, v. 54) exaggerates this and says that Vijayālaya founded Tanjore. The Anbil plates pun on his name Vijayālaya in praising his valour on the battle-field (v. 16).
