25. Parivi and Nandagiri occupy in late Bāṇa records a position similar to that of Uṟaiyūr and the Kāvērī in the Telugu Cōḍa records. It may be observed that Parigi answers to the description of the Bāṇa country being to the west of the Āndhra.
