63. K. V. Subramania Aiyar who edits this record (*EI.* xx p. 53) assigns it to Āditya I (*ibid* pp. 47-8) and says that its date corresponds to A.D. 883-4. He grants the identity of Varaguṇā with the queen of Parāntaka Iḷangōvēḷār, whom he also identifies with Vikramakēsari; but does not deal with the problems raised by the Vikramakēsari record from Koḍumbāḷūr.
