⁵² When Hultzsch said this, 172 of 1894 (Tirukkalukkunṟam) of the 26th year was the earliest record available. Since then, the *tiṅgaḷēr* introduction has been reported as found in 484 of 1925 (Year 10) and 392 of 1921 (Year 18), but on examining the impressions of these records, I have found that they are both dated in the thirty-sixth year.
