¹²² Mēviḷimbangam is sought in Perak by Rouffaer, and in Karmaranga (Kalaśapura) by Lévi pre-Aryan and pre-Dravidian (Bagchi) pp. 110-2. The former also identifies Vaḷaippandūru with Pāṇḍuranga in Campā. Krom observes: 'All these conjectures depend on our opinions, not on sufficient grounds.'
