85. Fleet and, following him, Barnett ascribe the expedition and apparently the loss of life that followed to Rājēndradēva. But we have no evidence that Rājēndra lost his life in the Cāḷukya wars, though he was present at Koppam, cf. *SII*. iii p. 53.
