Another Chera prince deserving mention is ‘Sēy of the elephant look’ who had also the title Māndaranjēral Irumporai (c. A.D. 210). After one battle, he was captured by his Pāndya contemporary Neḍunjeḷiyan, victor of Talaiyālaṅgānam, but regained his freedom in time to prevent his enemies at home from deposing him.
