The Vaitāl deul is notable for its barrel-roofed śikhara, its small supplementary shrines at the corners of its jagamohan (making it virtually a nascent pañcāyatana shrine), and for the well-balanced arrangement of all its parts. A small structure measuring only 18 feet by 25 with a height of 35 feet, it is a very pleasing blend of well-marked Southern and Northern forms.
