² *Cymco menos huũ quoarto por mil pardaos*, or nineteen for four thousand *pardaos*. The chronicler was a trader in horses at Vijayanagar. Later on he mentions the usual price as twelve or fifteen horses for a thousand *pardaos* (below, p. 381).
