⁴ Justin XLI, 6, 3, a list of the provinces taken by Eucratides from Euthydemid sub-kings (p. 199). Strabo XI, 515 attributes the conquest of τὴν ἐγγὺς αὐτῆς (Bactria) πᾶσαν to οἱ περὶ Εὐθύδημον, but this phrase is quite consistent with the conquest of the north by Euthydemus and of the south by his son.
