One other relationship of this period is now known. The publication in 1929 of the great Bajaur hoard showed that the Graeco-Indian king Antimachus II Nikephoros, whose place and date had been utterly uncertain, belonged at latest to the generation after Demetrius;⁴ it may therefore be taken for granted that he was a son of Antimachus.
