¹ A coin of the Bactrian Heliocles was found in the Mandali hoard (p. 270 n. 1), but this would have come down the Hekatompylos-Ecbatana road. It is no objection that no such coins seem to have been found in south Arabia; no one has had the chance of looking. But four Alexander-tetradrachms with Aramaic and Himyarite legends, of about the second century B.C., have come from Susa, *CR Ac. Inscr.* 1934 p. 235; R. Dussaud, *Mélanges Cumont* 1936 I p. 143.
