⁵ Wylie p. 36 n. (in 1881). He thought W’ou-ti-lao a near phonetic approach to ἀδελφοῦ. Karlgren (*CII* p. xxiv n. 4) says that the old pronunciation of W’ou-ti-lao would be uo-d’au-lâu, which is very near ἀδελφοῦ.
