Ajīt Singh attacks Nāhan.—“ In 1768 Ajīt was sent against Nahan¹ and the chiefs of the snowy mountains, whom he reduced to obedience. Thence he went to the Ganges, where he performed his ablutions, and in the spring he returned to Jodhpur.
