Idaṃ svabhedavidhuraṃ Harṣādīnāṃ dharābhu-jāṃ, Kañcit kālam abhūd bhojyaṃ tataḥ prabhṛti maṇ-ḍalam, i.e. "From that period onwards this country, which had suffered from internal dissensions, was for some time subject to Harṣa and other kings."[¹]
