³ Bk. IV, verse 145, (Stein, p. 134). Cf. “Kimanyat Kanyakubjorvī yamunā pāratosya sā, Abhūdā Kālikātīram gṛiha-prāṇ-ganavadvaśe.” The Kālikā may be identified with the present Kālinadī, which joins the Ganges at a short distance below Kanauj.
