The Lucknow Museum plate of Kīrtipāla, found in the Gorakhpur district of the United Provinces, further refers to Aṣṭavargika, Mahātthāsāsanika, Mahāsādhanika, Dharmādhikaraṇika, Daivāgārika, Daivajña, and Saṅkhadhārī³ etc. The last four appear to be religious dignitaries, but it is difficult to determine exactly the functions of the other officials.
