The next important countries which we recognize are Gurjarātrā 70000, Sind 20000, Kachbamaṇḍala 16020, Saurāshṭra 55000, Lāṭa 21000, Koṅkaṇa 36000 and Laghu Koṅkaṇa 16000. Here the form used is Gurjarātra and it is distinct from Lāṭa. Moreover, Gurjarātra appears to be yet southern Marwad and hence it seems probable that the Skanda Purāṇa is not later than the 11th century A. D.
