this title, bombastic though it clearly was. Narasinhavarman appears to have been brave and probably fought with Andhras only, though his ancestor Karṇa had undoubtedly conquered all the three Kanauj, Bengal and Āndhra. Curiously enough this title does not appear in Karṇa's inscriptions but first appears in that of his great-grandson Narasinha.
