Arkakshetra—Same as Padmakshetra: Konārak, or Black Pagoda, 10 miles north-west of Puri in Orissa, containing the temple of the Sun called Koṇāditya. It is also called Sūrya-kshetra (Brahma Purāṇa, ch. 27). See Konārka.
