Tilaprastha—Tilpat, six miles to the south-east of Toghlakabad and ten miles to the south-east of the Kutb Minar (Col. Yule’s *Ibn Batuta’s Travels in India*; *Ind. Ant.*, III, p. 116). It was included within Indraprastha, the capital of Yudhishṭhira. Shaikh Farid Bukhari built Faridabad near Delhi on the greater part of the old parganah of Tilpat (Elliot’s *Glossary*, Beames’ ed., II, p. 123). It was one of the five villages demanded by Kṛiṣhṇa on behalf of Yudhishṭhira from Duryodhana. See Pâṇiprastha.
