Tri-ṛiṣi—The lake called Nynee Tal (Naini Tal) in the United Provinces. The name of Tri-ṛiṣi is mentioned in the Skanda Purāṇa, quoted in JASB., XVII, p. 358. The temple of Nayanā Devī is situated on the bank of the lake.
