Gayanabhi—Jajpur in Orissa. Gayasura, a demon overthrown by Vishnu, was of such a bulky stature that when stretched on the ground his head rested at Gaya, his navel at Jajpur and his foot at a place called Pithapur, forty miles from Rajmahendri. A well or natural fountain at Jajpur is pointed out as the centre of the navel (Stirling's Orissa).
