Über die Kosmographie der Jaina ist bisher sehr wenig geschrieben worden. Ausser der schon S. 208 Anm. 5 erwähnten Übersetzung Jacobi’s von Umāsvāti’s Tattvārthādhigamasūtra ist mir noch folgendes bekannt: Barnett’s Note on the Jain Cosmography in seiner Übersetzung des Antagaḍadasāo und Anuttarovavāyidasāo (Oriental Translation Fund N. S. 17) 1907 S. 137; J. Stevenson: Some Remarks on the relation that subsists between the Jain and Brahmanical system of Geography (Journal of the Bombay Branch of the Royal Asiatic Society, Vol. 2 (1848) S. 411—15); H. T. Colebrooke: Miscellaneous Essays, Vol. 3 (1873) S. 198. Folgende beiden gleichnamigen Werke enthalten auch Abschnitte über unseren Gegenstand: Ratnasāra (I)⁵), Bhāga 1. Benares: Jainaprabhākar Press 1879 S. 172 ff. und Ratnasāgara Sūri’s Ratnasāra (II)⁶), Bhāga 2. Bombay Saṃvat 1923 [1868] S. 725 ff. (mit einer Karte).
