¹ Kajangala is identical with Ka-chu-wen-ki-lo of Yuan Chwang which lay at a distance of above 400 li east from Champā (Bhāgalpur). That Kajangala formed the eastern boundary of the Madhyadesa is also attested by the Sumangalavilāsinī (II, p. 429).
