⁶ This Dāṭhika must be identical with the Sāṭhika or Dāṭhika who is mentioned in the Dīpavaṃsa (19, 16) as having been killed by ‘Abhaya, son of Saddhātissa’, i.e. by Vaṭṭagāmaṇī.
