*Mahāvana*.—It was at Kapilavatthu (Samyutta, I, p. 26). The Buddha once dwelt at Kūṭāgāra hall in the Mahāvana, the great forest stretching up to the Himalayas (Vinaya Texts, III, 321ff.).
