Paleṭhī.—It is a small hamlet in Paṭṭi Khās situated in deep valley some 12 miles north-west of Devaprayāga standing at the confluence of the Gaṅgā and the Alakanandā. It contains ancient temples in ruins (vide Siddha-Bhāratī, Pt. II, pp. 273ff.).
