*Aphṣad.*—The Aphṣad or Aphṣaṇḍ Inscription of Ādityasena refers to Aphṣad or Aphṣaṇḍ, also called Jafarpur, a village near the right bank of Sakarī river about 15 miles towards the north-east of Nawādā in the Gayā district (C.I.I., Vol. III).
