Pāṭharghāṭā.—This hill is in the Bhagalpur district situated on the bank of the Ganges. On the north side of this hill there are some ancient rock sculptures. This hill also contains some caves. Some have identified it with Vikramaśilā (Bhagalpur, by Byrne, B. D. Gazetteers, p. 171).
