From the Bheraghat Inscription of Alhaṇadevī we learn that the victory of the Cālukya king Karṇa, son and successor of Gāṅgeyadeva, seems to have been obtained over the king of Vaṅga or East Bengal (E.I., XXIV, Pt. III, July, 1937).
