It was a kind of ophthalmology work named after Bodhisattva Nagarjuna in the Middle Ages and the author was unknown. It was similar to *Indian Sutra and Shastra on Ophthalmology* quoted from the *Medical Secrets from the Royal Library* written by Wang Tao in the Tang Dynasty and the name of Bodhisattva Nagarjuna’s *Sutra on Ophthalmology* reflected the historical fact that ancient Indian ophthalmology knowledge was popular in China.
