Puguang also stated in volume 5 of his “Jushe Lunji” that “the Vaiśeṣika masters proposed six Padarthas, ie dravya (substance), guṇa (quality), karma (activity), sāmānya (generality), viśeṣa (particularity) and samavāya (inherence); later, a master named Huiyue proposed a Ten Padartha Theory”.
