Works translated from Bengali mainly include Sarat Chandra Chatterjee’s *Srikanta* (1981), *Collection of Manik’s Short Stories* (1984); Tagore’s *300 Poems and Songs of Tagore* (1987), full-length novel *The Home and the World* (1987), *Queen Market* (1988), *Ship Wreck* (1955); Bankim’s *Poisonous Tree* (1988), Taraknath Ganogpadhyaya’s *Gold Vine* (1997), etc. In 2000, Hebei Education Press published 24 volumes of *Complete Works of Tagore*, including some of the poet’s main Bengali and English works, some of which were indirectly translated from Hindi.
