*Cluster of Stars* and *Spring Waters*, included many small poems with a philosophical significance, and bore quite a lot of similarities with Tagore’s *Stray Birds*. However, Xie Bingxin is known primarily for her prose. Her artistic style, delicate and lyrical strokes and fresh flowing language featured as her poetic speciality, which was intensely influenced by Tagore. Xie Bingxin bore in her heart a lifelong love for Rabindranath Tagore, and she made a great contribution towards the translation and interpretation of Tagore’s works. Her translation of the *Gitanjali* and other works have become Chinese translation treasure trove of classic literature.
