(now Zhongshan). He mastered many languages - Japanese, English and Sanskrit. He travelled to India, translated Indian tales and compiled Sanskrit grammar books. In modern China, he is the first to study Sanskrit and has made a special and indelible contribution to India-China cultural exchange.
