In the middle of the 20ᵗʰ century, trade and communication between India and China were unfortunately disrupted for a while due to largely political reasons. However, in the last few decades, there has been a steady revival of ties. Boosted mainly by the galloping trade between the two countries, it is slowly extending to other fields of economic activity and to political, cultural, academic and other ties. These ties are not just bilateral but also form part of larger regional networks. Overall, communication between India and China is on a trajectory of upward growth.
