He devoted his entire life to studying tsema. His major works include *Tsema* (1936), *Indian Logics* (1939), *Chinese Logic* (1947) and *Contribution of Xuanzang to Hetu-vidya* (1981). His treatises *Dharmakirti’s Contribution to the History of Indian Logic* (*Philosophical Researches*, Edition 2, 1989) gives a detailed discussion on the theory of tsema and has been strongly echoed by the academic community.
