W Pachow (1918 -) is an American born Chinese Buddhist scholar. His style names are Wang Shu (third tone) and Wang Shu (first tone), and his assumed name is Xian Qiao. His ancestral home is Wan County, Sichuan Province (Wanzhou of Chongqing today). He is an Emeritus Professor of University of Iowa.
