The wine from Makrān which came to Yudhiṣṭhira’s court was manufactured from the fruits, probably from the dates,¹⁵⁰ though Panjgur grapes are famous and very cheap at the height of the season.¹⁵¹ The trans-Indus people also brought woollen blankets and shawls which probably included *namdas* or felt for which Kharan is famous.¹⁵² The rugs of Makrān however are of inferior quality.¹⁵³
